Privacy Policy
Effective October 12, 2026
Home Display is personal software operated by the Aselton family for a single household. It is not offered to the public, has no users other than household members, and is not a commercial service.
What it accesses
With the household's consent, Home Display reads data from devices in the home: Google Nest cameras and doorbells (device list, event notifications such as motion, person, sound and doorbell events, and event snapshots where the device supports them), the Tesla energy gateway, Airthings air quality sensors, Dyson fans, Starlink, and the home network.
How data is used and stored
Data is used only to render the household's own display. It is stored on a computer inside the home. A short history is kept in memory for charts; event records are kept for a limited time and then discarded. No data is sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising or analytics.
Google user data
Home Display's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google data is used solely to display device status and events to the household, is never transferred to others, and is never used for advertising.
Revoking access
Access can be revoked at any time from the Google Account's third-party connections page or from the Nest Partner Connections Manager. Doing so stops all further data flow immediately.
